There is a club meet on Sunday mornings from 9:00 to 13:00 weather permitting. At these meets you will see a variety of models flown such as; fixed wing trainers, warbirds, gliders, EDF jets, vintage, electric, IC, helicopters and drones, just about anything depending on who is there. The only limitations are less than 90” wingspan unless approved and no turbines.
Members can also use the field other days of the week and again a variety of models can be seen flying.
We attend local events to promote the club, display models, and raise funds e.g. Doddington Carnival, March Carnival and RSPCA open day. At these events we generally organize activities and competitions that the public can enjoy, such as experiencing model flying using a simulator.
If you see us at one of these events please come over for a chat and we will be pleased to answer any questions you have regarding model flying.
